The good was alright but a bit more expensive then some other places in the market, but its one of the only places that opens late in the market.I would suggest venturing out into the local neighborhoods for dinner instead of staying close to the market.

We had lunch at Omimachi Shokudo located in Omimachi Market.After all, I came to the Omi town market, so it's a seafood bowl. I also had fried white shrimp.

Food was fresh, delicious and service was quick. We initially wanted to go to a different restaurant. However there was a long line for that (even though we could see empty tables in there). After waiting for a while, we got hungry and decided to go elsewhere. We came across this place and were seated immediately. Prices were similar to the other shop. We got the sashimi bowl and the crab bowl and both were delicious. All bowls come with miso soup too. We left feeling full and really satisfied with our experience.

Although it is a little deep, the inside is large so I could enter it almost without waiting despite lunch time on Sunday.The sashimi set meal was reasonable and delicious.

Great fresh fish right in the market. Speciality is "kaisen don" or raw fish on rice. Unlike chirashizushi the rice is not flavoured. The food was great, they have an English language menu, but the daily specials are handwritten in Japanese on a chalkboard. Prices are moderate, not cheap.

Very tasty and reasonably priced restaurant. I'd recommend if visiting Kanazawa!

The food is ok, but the prices are a bit high for what you could get here in general. Take note however this is a tourist area and closes really early (around 3-4?) so there aren't a lot still open for dinner. The seasonal stuff is great. I got the cod roe pot which is decent

I had a sashimi of seafood bowl and nodoguro. The throat shark melted in the mouth. was delicious.

Hidden place in Omicho market. It’s in a little small alley at market. We ordered Kaisen-don, Salmon salad and shirako nabe (cod sperms). These were delicious and fresh. Staff very helpful and kind.
